MyFirstInsurTec ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using our platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Our platform displays government-published licensee data — we do not collect or retain any information about the licensed agents shown in the platform beyond what is in the government source.

Our platform displays information about Florida-licensed insurance agents that is sourced from government public records maintained by the Florida Department of Financial Services. This data is published by the government and is publicly available.
If you are a licensed insurance agent whose information appears in our platform and you have questions about this, please contact us at hello@myfirstinsurtec.com. Note that we cannot remove information that is part of an active government public record — any corrections should be made directly with the FL DFS.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we retain basic records (name, email, billing history) for up to 5 years as required for tax and legal compliance, then delete them.
Platform usage logs are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us — we will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage for passwords, and role-based access controls. Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 compliant platforms (Supabase and Netlify).

We use session cookies necessary for authentication — these are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled while using the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.
